Just 27% of Likely U.S. voters said that Biden’s handling of the economy has been “excellent” or “good”, which is down from 32% in December.
The poll also found that 74% of respondents said that the U.S. economy has worsened in the past year, with 11% believing the economy has improved, and 13% who say it has remained the same over the past year.
Of the respondents, 91% of Republicans said the economy has worsened in the past year. While 54% of Democrats and 76% of unaffiliated voters agreed.
When it comes to the rising cost of gasoline at the pump, the majority of the respondents (52%) said Joe Biden’s energy policies bear the most responsibility for rising prices.
While 29% said oil companies bear most responsibility for rising prices at the pump, and 11% said Putin is mainly to blame.
In other polling from Rasmussen Reports, Biden’s approval rating currently stands at 39%.
At this same time during Donald Trump’s presidency, his approval rating stood at 46%.
