Musk told users on Friday, March 25 that “the consequences of this poll will be important. Please vote carefully.”
The poll had over 2 million votes with users overwhelming (70.4%) saying they believe Twitter does not adhere to free speech.
Musk then replied to the Tweet after voting had concluded asking users what should be done, “Given that Twitter serves as the de facto public town square, failing to adhere to free speech principles fundamentally undermines democracy. What should be done?”
