Ron Paul said that the social media giant Facebook had blocked his ability from managing his official public figure page on the platform. He says that the social media giant acted with “With no explanation other than “repeatedly going against our community standards,”

Paul said that his page has never “received notice of violating community standards in the past and nowhere is the offending post identified.”

Paul added that “The only thing we posted to Facebook today was my weekly “Texas Straight Talk” column, which I have published every week since 1976.”

This move by the social media giant comes after Facebook and other big tech companies have taken the unprecedented step to ban sitting President Donald Trump from using their platforms.

The companies that have banned President Trump include Twitch, Shopify, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Tiktok, Stripe, Campaign Monitor, among others.
