When asking all voters if a federal election was held today, which party they would vote for, 29% said they would vote for the Conservative Party and 31% said they would vote liberal.

15% of respondents said they would vote for the NDP while 4% said they would vote for the Bloc Québécois, Quebec’s left-wing nationalist party.

4% of respondents intend on voting for the Green Party and 7% said they would vote for another party, which could include Maxime Bernier’s People Party of Canada who was not included in the poll.

9% of respondents said they were still undecided.

The breakdown also shows that Trudeau is more popular with women and older voters.

Strong rumours on Parliament Hill suggest Canada could be headed for a late-summer or spring election, with many saying that the voting date could be as early as September 2021.
