According to True North, the Conservative Leader’s office confirmed to the outlet that neither he nor any Conservative MP will be in attendance at the World Economic Forum event in Davos, Switzerland in January.
On Twitter, Andrew Lawton from True North said that “Pierre Poilievre’s office has confirmed to me that no Conservative members of parliament will be at the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos next week.”

In May 2022, while campaigning to become the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, Pierre Poilievre said he would ban his cabinet from attending the event.
