Domenick Nati said that while trying to charge his Tesla with a supercharger on Friday, December 23, his vehicle was unable to gain a charge during the 19-degree weather.
When he first began charging the car was at 40% and said “It was very slow and the numbers got lower as the temperature dropped. Eventually, it stopped charging altogether.”
The next day he decided to go to a supercharger station as he was unable to charge his vehicle at home.
While at the supercharger station, Nati ran into the same issue as he did at home and the charger prompted him that his “battery is heating” and to “keep charge cable inserted”.
After hours, the same message was given by the charging station.

Eventually, Nati had to leave his car behind at the station and get a ride home.
Nati said he tried to contact Tesla for customer support but that he received no response and still hasn’t as of Sunday morning.
Nati told Fox Business that “Since I posted the video, a lot of people have mentioned having the same issue. Some fellow Tesla owners have even messaged me to see if I have found a solution,”.
